Uganda aims to enhance its non-oil export portfolio to reach a target of $6b by the year 2028. The array of products earmarked for increased international trade includes a diverse range from the agricultural and industrial sectors such as bananas, alongside other fruits and vegetables, and the promotion of tourism. This ambition was shared by Hellen Adoa, the state minister of fisheries, at the 2nd Indonesia Africa Forum in Bali, Indonesia.
