Kenya’s floriculture industry stole the show during the recently concluded International  Flower Trade Exhibition (IFTEX) 2025, held at the Visa Oshwal Center in Nairobi. The three-day vibrant event attracted record-breaking visitors and exhibitors. Therefore, pre-registrations were 25% higher compared to last year.

Overall, 189 exhibitors from 18 countries displayed their floral varieties and latest technologies. The event brought growers, suppliers, buyers, florists, and  flower lovers onto one platform, which made the atmosphere fabulous. It highlighted Kenya’s significant role in the flower trade globally and displayed innovative flower varieties and the use of green technologies.

During the three-day event, delegates talked about business connections, shared their ideas, and explored prospects in floriculture. Europe, the Middle East, and North America’s buyers had shown keen interest in Kenyan flowers due to their quality. The exhibition confirmed that Kenya holds a strong position in the floral market across the world.
